After two decades in corporate finance, I hit rock bottom. On the outside, I was ticking off career milestones. But inside? I was falling apart. Instead of continuing down a path that was burning me out, I made a choice: I left finance behind and started a journey of healing and self-discovery. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.
I’ll be honest—real transformation takes grit. It wasn’t just about changing my diet or hitting the gym harder. I had to heal my mind and emotions first. Therapy, meditation, journaling, and mindful eating weren’t just buzzwords—they became essential tools for helping me rebuild from the inside out.
At one point, I was the same weight I am today, but back then, I looked heavier, bloated, and inflamed—despite following super restrictive diets, and working out constantly. What changed? Once I healed emotionally and shifted from a victim mindset to someone who owns her power, my outside finally started reflecting the inner work I had done. I eat whole, nutritious foods (I am never hungry), move my body in ways that feel good, and I feel—and look—better than ever.
